Giveaway: $10 off voucher for birdmotel

Hey girls,

I have a voucher code for $10.00 off any purchase at www.birdmotel.com.au. At the very least it will take away the shipping cost for you. Expires 30/06/2010.

I'm unlikely to use it, so have decided to pass it on before it expires. I will pass on the voucher code to the first person to ask for it under this blog post. However, please be courteous and only ask for it if there is a likely chance that you will actually use it.

A Little Bit of Tony Bianco Lovin'

Just a quick post about a pair of shoes I received in the mail today. On eBay (LOVE) I scored a pair of Tony Bianco Prance shoes in black leather for $38.00 (RRP $140). They aren't current season shoes - but look at them, would they ever be out of season?! Yes, I am in love. Perfect shape, perfect heel height.

I will let you in on a guilty secret - I actually already own this style in black patent leather AND a nude patent leather!!!

Partner: You already have those shoes! How are you justifying another pair?
Me: ...err, umm... work... yes, work! I need them for when I get a job (still at Uni FYI). I can't wear my black patent ones to work as ...err.... they'd be too shiny! (not necessarily true, but it sounds good...)

I also got the other two pairs also for around the same price, albeit a few months before (again, eBay). So, if you think about it, I really got three pairs of these beauties for the cost of one!

Ta Da! L-R: Plain black leather, honey nude patent leather, black patent leather

Just between you and me, I feel like a little bit of a shoe shop owner.

Alannah Hill Crazy!

Got some great bargains on a few Alannah Hill pieces from the sale at www.clearitonline.com.au

They are sold out of a lot of stock now, so glad I got it when I did. I received these pieces:

AH Watch Me, Watch You Beanie. RRP $89, I paid $20

AH Deeply Bothered Headband. RRP $49, I paid $10

AH How Very Dare You Necklace. RRP $79, I paid $20

Very happy with all my purchases, love them all and can't wait to wear them! I paid $50 for items worth $220. Got to be happy with that, especially when it is gorgeous Alannah Hill pieces.

I was a bit put off by postage though - the site charges $10 for the first item, then $5 for every additional item. I had about 10 headbands I had lined up ready to buy, but had to put them back as the shipping was ridiculous. I did write a feedback letter to the company, and have now been told that postage will be $10 for the first item, and $2 for every item thereafter! Sounds a lot more reasonable to me! Never underestimate the power of customer feedback.

Bargains, Bargains, Bargains!

New post as promised, sorry about the delay.

Now whilst as noted I have been busy with Uni, apparently I haven't been so busy as to stop myself from online shopping! I have picked up some great bargains in the last few days and will share them with you today.

My favourite online places to bargain shop? Well, eBay to begin with, but that deserves its own entirely separate post (I HEART EBAY). If you don't know where to look, then you're in luck because I am about to show you.

There are sites online which bring you items at heavily discounted prices. Yes often the stock is last seasons, and sizing/styles may be limited than from buying when the seasons first come out... but for the price, no-one can complain. Also note that shipping takes a while from these sites, as they only get their stock in once the sale finishes up on the site. Patience is a necessity.

The main sites I frequent are;
-www.estile.com
-www.brandsexclusive.com.au
-www.buyinvite.com.au
-www.threadpeople.com.au
-www.ozsale.com.au

If you love a bargain, then you need to sign up to these websites. Pronto! Some of these (estile, brandsexclusive) are invite only. If you need an invite, let me know and I shall oblige.

So, onto my haul for this week from these sites;

A great Evil Twin sale was on this week at buyinvite.com.au. Up to 70% off RRP, I picked up;

(PICS courtesy of buyinvite.com.au)

-Black Silver 'Constant Rain' Shoulder Tee. RRP $60, I paid $29

-Silver 'The Constant Rain' Leggings. RRP $75, I paid $25

-White Black Skull Singlet. RRP $40, I paid $17

So, that was a saving of $104 I made!

Onto ozsale.com.au, where I made a single purchase of the Anise Material Girl Dress. RRP $110, I paid $26.00. Bargain!

(PICS Courtesy of ozsale.com.au)

Okay, now my final purchase this week came from threadpeople.com.au. I purchased the Luna 'want to meet a sailor boy dress'. RRP $90, I paid $25.

(PIC courtesy of threadpeople.com.au)

So, I hope you enjoyed seeing the purchases I have made, and don't forget to sign up for those sites so in the future you too can be the proud owner of some absolute bargains!
