Post-Christmas Shopping - ONLINE

Okay girls, time for an update on what I have been buying online post-Christmas (so far!). I will follow shortly with a post of what I picked up in the city during the post-Christmas sales.

Okay, online purchases:

(1) As already posted, picked up this One Teapsoon Asylum Vest for $20 (normally $100). From the boxing day sale on at www.oneteaspoon.com.au

(2) From www.ozsale.com.au, I picked up the following from their Ksubi sale.

-Ksubi Red Skennar Sunnies for $30 (normally $280)
-Ksubi Super Skinny Jeans in Blue Squawk for $20 (normally $270)

(3) From www.mycatwalk.com.au

-Mypetsquare Maps Shirt for $30 (normally $100)

-Mypetsquare Andes Fun Dress for $31.50 (normally $105)

(4) From the sale at www.zyla.com.au

-Blessed are the Meek Ruffled skirt for $10 (normally $130)

-Luxe Accessories Tea Rose Leather Wallet for $20 (normally $88)

-Ada G Leather Zip Shoulder Bag for $30 (normally $80)

-Kuku Moroccan Nights Dress for $50 (normally $190)

(5) I purchased Samantha Wills earrings from two places:

-Firstly these Peacock Plume Earrings from www.buyinvite.com.au for $30 (normally $80)

-Then these SW earrings from eBay for $5.50 (not including postage). Apparently a few small jewels are missing, hopefully it's not too noticeable IRL.

(6) I have also made a Victoria's Secret order from their sale, but won't bother uploading photos, we all know what bras and undies look like!

ONE TEASPOON Boxing Day Sale Online NOW

Boxing day sale online for One Teaspoon NOW. LINK

I picked up just one item. The Asylum vest. Was $100, down to $20.

Cue Sale 30-50% Off - Yippee!

I have been to the Cue sale two times in the last two days. The first time I thought I was done, but couldn't resist going back to have another peek. I don't think I went too overboard, although I definitely could of! I am trying to build up a corporate wardrobe for my upcoming entry into the workforce, so I was glad to get a few Cue pieces on sale. Here is what I picked up:

All pieces were 50% off RRP. The top and grey dress were approx $65each, the black dress was approx $100.

I thought I would also post here two dresses I picked up from Portmans. They weren't on sale, but I liked them enough to buy them, and Portmans isn't that expensive to begin with (compared to Cue anyway). These dresses were $100 each.

One Sleep To Go!

One sleep until Christmas, yay! Will just be having a quite one with my partner, so will miss out (or should that be avoid?) on the big family gathering. Here is our tiny Christmas tree -haha it looks so sad. One day when we have our own home we will have one of those glorious big trees! All the presents under there are all for my partner... He only bought my presents yesterday, and still hasn't wrapped them!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas. I am sure I will be back in a few days to report on any boxing day specials I will (hopefully!) pick up! My local Myer opens at 7am, so I will get a bit of a sleep-in compared to other states where things are opening at 5am eek!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Another ASOS Buy

ASOS still have free international shipping, so I picked up this basic for about $18AUD. I couldn't find any valid codes, but this was a cheapie purchase so I'm not too fussed. The amount of people who will not buy unless they have a 10% or 20% off code amuses me. For larger purchases I can understand as the savings can be considerable, but for one or two item purchases I really do not understand. For example with this shirt, I am not going to let a $1.80 difference stop me from buying the item. Is it really about the savings (surely not...), or is it just principle-based because everyone now expects ASOS to always have a code?

Also, I thought I read in an email that the free international shipping would be ending soon. Can't seem to find it anywhere though... maybe it was just something about Christmas shopping deadlines?

Vogue KK 2010 Love

Today I got my gorgeous Vogue KK 2010 gift! I was super excited to receive it, and very happy with what I received. I wrote so much on my registration list as I didn't want to leave my KK in the dark. So glad I did as it really was a mystery right up to opening it of what it might have been!

I received this gorgeous tan bag from forever new. I absolutely love its satchel-like style and the buckles. Cannot wait to use it. I love Vogue KK so much, and feel very lucky for once again having such a great KK who put so much effort into researching my personal style and finding something that is perfect for me. Much love to the voguette MrsRyan if you are reading this :)

Borne Naked Liners: Get one FREE with any purchase (first 100 buyers)

Girls, I cannot say enough about Borne Naked Liners. They are the perfect solution to any cluttered handbag. I am a huge fan of big bags. I like to be prepared, with everything from mints through to an umbrella, for all of those "just in case" scenarios. Unfortunately, my penchant for carrying around everything I can lay my hands on leads to very cluttered bags with bits and pieces EVERYWHERE! I seriously hate nothing more than a ringing phone which I manage to find in my bag only when it is a second too late. Anyway, my point is, Borne Naked solves this! Best thing ever, read more on their website if you like. Oh also they are Australian, so double bonus! :)

At the moment there is a promo on for 20% off PLUS a FREE Borne Naked for Men liner with any purchase. It is limited to only the first 100 orders, but it only started yesterday, and has only really been widely advertised as of this morning, through missy confidential. So, if you have been thinking about buying one, NOW is the time to do it! The promo code to enter is SHOP.

I picked up the medium size original borne liner, and got 20% off of that. Postage was $5.00, so all up I paid just under $30.00 for it posted (original price plus postage would have been $35.00). On top of that, for being one of the first 100 I will get a FREE Borne Naked for Men worth $24.95. Cannot wait to get my partner onto it!

Now, the only downside to this promo is when you enter the code you don't know if you are the first 100 to get the free liner. I had to email them to find out if my order qualified. So, there is always the risk that you are placing an order but may not be in the first 100. You can always contact them to ask though before placing your order to confirm. Their customer service is excellent, I received a reply within 30mins!

I will be sure to add photos of the liner in use once I receive it!

Samantha Wills Goodies

Picked up a few SW goodies from the www.buyinvite.com.au sample sale. I absolutely adore SW, how could you not?! I love that her items are so creative and unique, and that the price is actually very reasonable. Unfortunately for me in-between Uni and the ridiculous amount of money spent on furnishing our new apartment, I can rarely afford to buy her pieces at full RRP. Luckily for me there are these sale sites. Definitely a win-win situation, and I love that my money is going towards supporting an Australian designer.

Here is what I picked up:

-Gold Shyanne Bangle Set: RRP $80, bought for $19

-Black/Silver Revelry Ring: RRP $80, bought for $20.

-Long Kiss Goodnight Clutch: RRP $85, bought for $25

-Excess Baggage Clutch: RRP $80, bought for $20

-Life is a Dance Floor: RRP $80, bought for $20

Graduation, Blog Neglect, and ASOS Love

Firstly, I am SO sorry for my blog neglect. My initial intention was to only be gone for a few weeks over the exam period. But in the middle of exams we found out we were approved for a new place to live in the city. So, straight after exam mode I then moved into packing and unpacking mode, and now finally here I am. Two weeks after moving in, I finally feel settled enough to come back and revive my poor blog.

I thought I would start by sharing the good news that Uni results were released yesterday. Well, it was good news for me anyway as I am now officially going to graduate this year with a BA.LLB (Hons). For those not in the know, that is a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree, with honours to boot! I am over the moon with this news, as it has been a long five years. The thing I will miss most about being at Uni? Definitely the holidays and the sleep-ins. I have no idea how I will cope once I move into the "real" world.

Finally to keep this post fashion related, ASOS UK has recently been offering free international shipping. I picked up just a few goodies. Ever since moving and having to buy a new fridge, washing machine, lounge suite, dining suite and bed, well my bank balance is not a very happy chappy.

Busy Busy Bee + Stella McCartney for Target

Buzzzzzzzzzzzz. This is what the inside of my head sounds like right now. I am smack bang in the middle of my final Uni exams ever (after 5 long years of law), and if that's not enough my partner and I have just been approved for a lease in a gorgeous inner-city apartment. So, trying to run around and sort that out whilst studying is really not an easy task. Not to mention the $$$$ it is going to cost us to deck the place out with all the usual goods. *sigh* My bank balance shudders at the thought!

In other news, has anyone been in to see the Stella McCartney collection for Target. I couldn't get in yesterday, but hoping to pop in today! I have my eyes on this following combo, but perhaps in different colourways (I hear the tulip skirt in navy is gorgeous!)

I'm Not Dead! + ASOS Discount Code

Officially two weeks from now I will be exam free... woooooooooooooooooooooooo. Thought I'd do a quick post as I feel extremely guilty for taking this hiatus, like I have abandoned everyone. Sowwy.

As promised, here is a currently valid code for 10% off ASOS: DELAYED1910

Pictures are good, so here are some items I have ordered off ASOS: I ordered in US dollars, which right now the AUS dollar is doing so well against!

(1) TFNC Pleat Front Floral Bandeau Dress: $26.96 USD
-Funny story - I actually saw this dress on eBay selling for $70, and I really wanted it so thought I would look on the actual ASOS website, and there it was on sale! So glad I shopped around!

(2) ASOS Spot Tulip Skirt: $10.11 USD

(3) ASOS Floral Waterfall Crop Top: $13.48 USD

Now just waiting for it all to arrive. Maybe it will come in time to be my post-exams treat to myself.

Hiatus

Hello girls! I just wanted to let you all know that I have decided to take a hiatus from blogging for a month. Not that I was ever that consistent with it, I know. But I am in my very last year of Uni, and exams are fast approaching in the next few weeks, so I have decided it would be the best to take a temporary hiatus from blogging. But rest assured as soon as that last exam is done and dusted I will be back on here sharing all my bargain hunting with you once more.

Oh, also, I could easily be persuaded to have a celebratory giveaway when I come back :) Keep your eyes peeled girls!

Giveaway Winners Announcement

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thankyou to everyone for helping me celebrate 100 followers! It is a great achievement, and something that will definitely keep me motivated to keep the blog updates regular! I am off on holiday for a week or so from tomorrow, so I won't be blogging then. But I am off to Melbourne for a bit of a shop so expect a post about all my shopping goodies on my return.

Okay, now onto the winners! I had 52 entries into the giveaway, I wish I could give something to all of you but unfortunately there can only be four. Okay, I have used random.org to pick out the numbers, so here we go! Number allocations were:

The winners are:

#35 = Elle Diamonds
#44 = hollypop
#10 = Bee
#37 = Melissa (the one who posted on 6 Sept, 11:41pm on the iNuovi Post)

Yay, congrats girls! I will be getting in touch with you individually to sort out giveaway allocations (each girl will be able to submit a list of the items they want in preferential order, and I'll do my best to accommodate). If any of the girls are not contactable via blogger, please comment on my blog to leave your contact details for me.
